Comments: My great-uncle, Jim Pohlman, was in the 5th division that landed on Iwo Jima. He was one of the many that died there, killed in a fox-hole by a morter. It was interesting to see photographs and hear from someone who survived the rough time-line of events. I wish I could have known my uncle as you knew your father. I wish you well.

Just thought I'd drop you a line on here...Injust completed day 4 of 6 on my prep-course...we started out with 19 people and have already lost 9...they've all failed in the last 2 days...so far I've gotten a 95%, a 95%, and a 100% on my tests so I'm doing very well...monday I'm building a fuze and setting off an entire stick (1.25 lbs) of C-4...that's a test...then our end of course test ...(trimmed)
